CHARACTERISTICS

Kucle is a variety of citrus plants in the Kumquat collection, of uncertain origin and most probably a hybrid between the Kumquat (Fortunella Margarita) and the Clementine (Citrus Clementina).
The plant is compact and its leaves are oval and dark green.
It has small, white, intensely fragrant flowers.
The fruits are elongated but are larger, rounded than those of the Kumquat. They remain on the plant for a long time, even after they have ripened, and are eaten without peeling.The peel is rich in pigments and essential oils, while the pulp generally has a sweet-sour taste.
 

USES 

Excellent fruit for the preparation of tasty jams.
Rich in vitamin C, vitamin A and potassium, kucle fruits are excellent antioxidants.
This variety of plant has a high decorative value!
