CHARACTERISTICS
The Green or Tahitian Lime is a variety of citrus plants that belongs to the Lime collection.

It is slightly more fragile than the lemon.

It is a vigorous plant with fast growth and medium to dark green leaves.
Its fruits are slightly oval, mostly green or yellowish-green with a thin skin and contain a greenish, very acidic, juicy, almost seedless pulp rich in essential oils.

 

USES
It is a variety with fruits rich in vitamin C.
A variety of Lime taht is excellent in cooking and for making summer cocktails such as: caipirinha, daiquiri and mojito.
The juice is also added to fruit salads and seafood, and often in combination with curry.
It is highly valued in the perfume and detergent industries.
