Giambó Piante di Vito Giambó has always invested in production technologies with a low environmental impact, cultivating its citrus fruits using the above-ground technique, so as to reduce the risk of disease and limit the number of treatments needed to protect the plants.
In the greenhouses, in fact, the activity of useful insects, essential for defence activities and during pollination, is favoured.
OUR SUSTAINABLE CHOICES
2022: For our packaging we have adopted certified 100% recyclable pots as they are made without the use of heavy metals and with a Carbon Black content close to or equal to ZERO
2023: Reducing the percentage of peat in our substrate created from a mixture of raw materials.
